As trusteeship decided by the U.N. is far from independence, which Koreans have been wished, a nationwide movement against trusteeship was launched with Kim Gu as the central figure. At the first stage, the communists seemed to participate in this movement but they changed their attitude to agree to the trusteeship according to Soviet¡¯s order on 2 Jan. 1946.
